Sylus Green, Adobe Bootcamp InstructorBorn to an Art teacher and a Music Teacher, Sylus Green is a self-proclaimed “hippie-kid.” As the front man for the band Malachi in Orlando, FL and gained a love for musicianship and sound design, which led him to open Feel Good Music Studios. After opening his studio he began shooting and editing video and fell in love with Premiere Pro and After Effects and has since had his work featured on FOX, Bay News 9 and News 13 Orlando. Sylus has trained professionals from the all walks including US Government, Disney, and University of Central Florida to name a few. With experience in songwriting, and creative writing, Sylus approaches video editing, and motion graphics from a storytelling perspective.

 

Katherine Houghton, Adobe Bootcamp Instructor Katherine Houghton is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with degrees in Graphic Design and Industrial Design. She has held multimedia, graphic design, and consulting positions at numerous companies including KPMG LLP, one of the big five Accounting Consulting Firms where she managed the Multimedia Department. During the “.com” boom of the 90s she was promoted to Vice President of Confidant Inc. where she managed the entire look of all visual materials including the marketing and internet presence.

Currently, Katherine teaches classes in Illustrator, Freehand, Director, Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, After Effects, Final Cut Pro & Acrobat.

 

Jason Paruta, Adobe Bootcamp InstructorJason Paruta graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1996 with a degree in Fine Arts. He has been a versatile 3D instructor and freelance CG artist for various clients around the country. Jason’s teaching experience has brought him to Future Media Concepts as a 3D/2D graphics instructor, teaching a large range of corporate and private clients. He focuses his freelancing efforts on 3D product rendering, architectural visualization, previz, character rigging, and animation. Jason teaches classes in Autodesk 3ds Max, NewTek LightWave, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.

 

Chris Wall, Adobe Bootcamp InstructorChristopher Wall is fueled with a strong passion for design and is a driving force in the creative design and development of all our projects. He began his career in Graphic Communication and Design in 1999 with a small E-Learning and Instructional Training company. After a series of buy-outs he served as a senior graphics designer at RWD Technologies and Latitude 360° for companies such as NASA, Nokia and Cisco Systems. Chris then left to pursue his interests in 3D Animation, where he received an AS degree in Computer Animation and a series of specialized certifications in Lightwave 3D and Photoshop.

Working as a freelance designer he animated and built 3D Characters for a children’s tv series and various other projects. He then took a position of creative direction and oversaw the development for all marketing materials and visualizations for condominium sales throughout Florida.

Currently, Chris is now Co-Owner and Creative Director of Developmental Marketing where he continues to focus on Graphic and Web Design, 3D visualization and Animation. He also tours the country training students on sophisticated 3D & Graphic technologies. Chris manages all branding and marketing materials produced for the Franchise Brokers Association and its members. He also manages the creative department of the FBA team.

 

Jonathan Flowers, Adobe Bootcamp InstructorJonathan Flowers has been an information systems specialist since 1999. He graduated from the UCF School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He also holds certifications in numerous web applications such as Flash and Dreamweaver and provides extensive training on programming and various web technologies. Currently he is Co-Founder of Developmental Marketing LLC.

Jonathan is skilled at understand complex client needs and requests. He is known for making the impossible possible and has practical insight on the implementation of extensive projects. He is highly skilled in the technical aspects of the business but also understands the true desires of the clients needs.

 

Mira Rubin, Adobe Bootcamp InstructorAcclaimed instructor, writer, and speaker, Mira Rubin holds a BFA from Alfred University NY State College of Ceramics with concentrations in Bronze Sculpture and Photography, and an Associates degree in Multimedia and Animation from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Teaching Adobe applications full-time since 2000, Mira has written numerous demo scripts and tutorials for Adobe and is the author of Interactive InDesign CS5 (Focal Press) with Interactive InDesign CS6 to be released in early spring of 2012. Mira is an Adobe Certified Instructor in InDesign, Digital Publishing Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash and Captivate. Through her company Mira Images, she does freelance design, development and consulting, specializing in EPUB, digital publishing, and eLearning.
